About The Jimmy Fund
Jimmy Fund Golf is one of the oldest and largest charity golf programs in the country. Volunteers have run golf tournaments to support the Jimmy Fund since the 1950s, and over the years, as this network of tournaments grew, the Jimmy Fund established a formal program to support these volunteers.

Now entering its 26th year, the program has grown to 160 tournaments annually and has a full-time staff of nine to assist tournament directors in planning their events. In 2007, tournaments collectively raised $6.7 million to support the lifesaving mission of Boston's Dana-Farber.

The Jimmy Fund is the fundraising organization named for a young patient of Dana-Farber founder Sidney Farber, MD. The generous supporters of the Jimmy Fund make much of the work of Dana-Farber possible. Founded in 1948, the Jimmy Fund is the official charity of the Boston Red Sox, Pan-Massachusetts Challenge cycling fundraiser, Massachusetts Chiefs of Police Association, and the Variety Children’s Charity of New England. Each year, thousands of volunteers and donors organize and participate in Jimmy Fund events. Learn more
